The dreams of the last 9 years are now coming to fruition with the opening of our first phase of new hotel rooms in the refurbished Bishops Coach House, and the brand new Bishops Lodge.

Since taking over the dating but delightful Georgian building in the centre of the town, we have always had the goal of bringing the hotel up to date and returning it to its former glory. Despite a recession, 3 planning applications and an appeal, a protracted build programme, and the challenge of keeping the hotel operating under its old guise, we have finally reached the first milestone in opening 8 brand news boutique style rooms.

The hotel is aiming to link with the history of the town, and rooms have been named after a range of notable people associated with the town to give the visitor a flavour of what Farnham is about. Feedback from guests staying with us has been fantastic, and we are delighted with the results.

The work programme has now moved to the main hotel building fronting West Street, which will undergo the same level of detail to leave us with a total of 25 delightful bedrooms and spacious function rooms available from Autumn 2017. This includes the long overdue addition of car parking for guests, which is a bonus in the town centre.
